Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule The official list below shows time periods that are reserved, not confirmed exams. Please confirm with your instructor whether or not the final exam for a course will be conducted during this time. Students acknowledge they have read and agreed to the conditions and terms of registration. Exam sites make every effort to accommodate participants who have special needs. The nature and degree of these needs should be noted on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation from a doctor. In addition, the exam locations must be kept confidential. If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department in order to schedule a make-up test. Although it is possible to take three exams in one day, it could cause an increase in stress levels and can impact the quality of the test. The professor may not be able give an additional test to make up for the missed day. Before taking the test, students must prepare by studying the syllabus and practice their German skills. The test is a paper-based test that tests the ability to speak, read, and write in German. The examination results are presented on a scale from A1 to C2. Students who succeed in passing the test are awarded the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies that the student has attained language level A1. This level is the first level of the six-level scale of competency laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free. Students must bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. Those who do not have an acceptable photo ID are disqualified from the exam. Fees If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you must pay the examination fee. egzamin praktyczny a1 is in addition to the cost of the course. Practice tests let you get familiar with the format of the test, the language, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They let you assess your knowledge level, find gaps in your knowledge and increase your chances of passing the exam. Please note that the examination fee is not refundable.
